ESOI Touchdown 2024

Dear colleagues & friends,

We are very happy and honoured to invite you to the ESOI Touchdown 2024 in Valencia, Spain.

Valencia is one of the most important European centres for research and the development of important projects in radiology, artificial intelligence, and oncologic knowledge. The University and Polytechnic La Fe Hospital and the Polytechnic University of Valencia are the principal institutions that harbour many national and international projects such as EUCAIM, CHAIMELON, PROCancer-I, EATRIS, EURO-BioImaging and others.

Furthermore, Imaging La Fe serves as a node within the Distributed Network of Biomedical Imaging (ReDIB), within the Singular Scientific and Technological Infrastructures (ICTS) under the Ministry of Innovation and Science in Spain, being the only ICTS within a hospital.

Valencia, situated on Spain‘s Mediterranean coast, embodies a multicultural and multifaceted reality, shaped by over 2,150 years of history. The city projects a modern and forwardlooking image through structures like the City of Arts and Sciences, and is home to some UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the Silk Exchange (Lonja de la Seda) and the Fallas. The mixture of Roman, Arabic and Christian culture has made Valencia a historically rich city, as well as inspired the production of arts and crafts. This is why it is possible to find contemporary art museums, guild museums, museums with Gothic works or hidden treasures like the revered Holy Chalice (Santo Cáliz) or The Valencian Sistine Chapel. Discovering them is to discover the heart and soul of Valencian culture.

Registration Available

Registration for the ESOI 2024 Touchdown Valencia is to be made electronically by completing the respective registration form. Incomplete registration forms cannot be processed. It is the participant’s own responsibility to provide all necessary details and documents and to ensure the completeness of their registration.

After successful registration and payment, a confirmation email together with the payment confirmation document will be sent. Online registration closes on the 8th of September. After this, registration can be done via email.
