Come Build the Future of Healthcare at the SIIM Hackathon

Join like-minded informaticists and developers to learn about and build interfaces that are changing the way health information systems work, communicate, and interact with each other.

The SIIM Hackathon is the place to observe vendors and attendees working side-by-side while exploring, navigating, and developing apps! Come to the Hackathon to have fun, meet fellow developers, and informaticians, and try out the new RESTful Healthcare IT protocols (HL7 FHIR, DICOMweb, and SWIM.) Experience first-hand how new and experienced coders build and test applications, collaborate on projects, and develop the next generation of applications and utilities.

Despite all the tech jargon, hackathons and hacking are not only for computer programmers - we welcome anyone with an appetite for solving problems and improving healthcare. Non-technical participants can be paired with programmers to help them make their vision a reality!
