ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology) and EPC (European Pancreatic Club) collaborate to organise a multidisciplinary course on pancreatic diseases. as there is an increased demand in educational activities addressing the imaging spectrum of pancreatic diseases from a multidisciplinary point of view. In contemporary medicine it is crucial for gastroenterologists, surgeons, pathologists and other specialists to understand a variety of issues related to imaging as in many cases it is the basis for clinical decision-making and not anymore restricted to radiologists only. For the purpose of having an effective and giving collaboration with their clinical colleagues, radiologists now have a key role in the multidisciplinary setting as they have to be aware of the clinically relevant questions and provide useful information that will have an impact on patient management. The aim of this course is to enhance the mutual understanding of important issues in the clinical management of patients with pancreatic diseases in order to improve patient-related outcomes.
