AIIC - National Congress of Clinical Engineering

In the thirtieth year since its foundation, the Italian Association of Clinical Engineers-AIIC wants to forcefully reaffirm through its 2023 National Conference the need for competent governance of technologies as the only possibility to guarantee fair and sustainable access to innovation.

Never before has there been the need to know how to combine the ability to identify technological innovation in response to the need for health with the search for real and not facade sustainability, which does not mortify any of the actors and stakeholders involved.

The search for this balance, in addition to representing one of the main health drivers for citizens, lays the foundations for a real social challenge involving patients, clinicians, researchers, market operators and institutions.

It is necessary to draw attention to the social impact of health technologies also in relation to their role in helping to overcome territorial inequalities and improve the possibility of accessing patient care.

This is why we have chosen as the title of our national event "Innovation and accessibility: the government of health technologies as a social challenge" .

By now a reference event on the national scene, able to catalyze the interest of all stakeholders.

Unique, because its strong point is and will always be that of promoting a real comparison, an exchange of views aimed at sharing knowledge.

We are pleased to celebrate the 30th birthday of the conference in the atmosphere of enthusiasm that distinguishes it, offering the participants the opportunity to establish a concrete link between the scientific part and market operators and to create a real network of knowledge and opportunities.
