US Doctors Trial e-Visits

The e-visits are part of a programme developed by Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Maine.

Selected patients will be able to send health-related messages and questions via email with their doctors about non-urgent issues, alongside scheduling appointments, checking test results and requesting prescription refills.

Patients who do not have access to reliable transportation, and those who stay out of the state most of the year, will make maximum use of the new service.
