Affidea, a leading pan-European provider of polyclinics, advanced diagnostic imaging, and specialist healthcare services, has expanded its presence in Lithuania by acquiring SYNLAB Lithuania, a prominent laboratory network, in a 100% acquisition. This move completes Affidea's offering in Lithuania by adding advanced laboratory analysis to its portfolio of outpatient services.
With this milestone, Affidea Lithuania will now be able to offer integrated outpatient services, including a full range of diagnostic and laboratory services, as well as specialist consultations, to patients, prescribers, public hospitals, business customers and insurance clients throughout Lithuania.

SYNLAB Lithuania operates one central and one regional laboratory as well as nine blood collection points (BCPs) across Lithuania, serving approximately 94,000 patients annually. The laboratories are strategically located in the five largest cities—Vilnius, Klaipėda, Kaunas, Šiauliai, and Druskininkai—where Affidea already has an established presence with state-of-the-art centres where it offers a full range of outpatient, day surgery and rehabilitation services.

In Lithuania, Affidea operates 17 healthcare centres, working with up to 1,300 professionals, 600 of which are doctors, serving over 600,000 patients annually.
