Siemens AXIOM Luminos dRF is a highly versatile remote radiographic and fluoroscopic solution with dynamic FD technology that makes the system a fully digital solution for enhanced workflow during fluoroscopic and radiographic examinations. The system has been designed to optimize fluoroscopy imaging of obese patients. This is in response to studies that suggest obesity in the U.S. has doubled the instances of inconclusive imaging exams over the past 15 years. With almost 30 percent of U.S. adults now categorized as obese, Siemens developed the AXIOM Luminos dRF to speed workflow for bariatric procedures.
The system can be used for a wide range of patient sizes and minimizes specialty equipment requirements, resulting in improved patient accessibility, faster patient turnaround and, ultimately, an increase in volume.
