Manuel Monteiro as New Expert at European Health and Digital Executive Agency

Manuel Monterio, Information System Director at Hospital de Braga, E.P.E, was just appointed as an expert at the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA). His key responsibility is to support the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) in evaluating 2021 Horizon Europe Health proposals submitted under ‘Health care innovation procurement network’.

Manuel Monterio was awarded “CIO OF THE YEAR - Portugal - Technology-Driven” in 2015 to recognise teamwork that added significant value to a healthcare unit’s business. As a Project Manager, he is a certified Scrum Master and has Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification for Healthcare. His career covers information systems development, implementation projects, and teams in multiple industries, like Internet/e-Commerce, Construction, Education, Electronics Industry, IT/SI, Healthcare (Hospitals) and Pharma.
