José Manuel Martínez-Sesmero has recently taken on the role of Subdirector Médico at Hospital Clínico Lozano Blesa, part of the esteemed Servicio Aragones de Salud (SALUD). Currently serving as the Deputy Medical Director at Lozano Blesa Clinical Hospital, he brings a wealth of experience to this crucial position within the Aragon Health Service (HEALTH) on a full-time basis.
Martínez-Sesmero, a licensed pharmacist since 1999, holds a Ph.D. in epidemiology, nutrition, and cardiovascular health, earned through his impactful contributions at Hospital Virgen de la Salud in Toledo. His educational journey includes diverse post-graduate courses, showcasing his dedication to continuous learning. Notably, he serves as the Director of Pharmacy at HCSC, EAHP Spanish Ambassador, and Innovation Manager at SEFH. Furthermore, he serves as an Associate Professor at UCM and actively participates in research areas such as health economics, drug evaluation, eHealth, big data, and artificial intelligence. His multifaceted expertise positions him as a mover and shaker in the dynamic landscape of healthcare leadership.
