SIOP ASIA 2021

The Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Chapter of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) is honored to host the XIIIth Congress of SIOP-Asia from 19th to 21st March 2021 on virtual platform.

Dedicated pediatric oncology units in India have long been catering to cancer care across different social and financial strata and their contribution to achievements and advancements of the second largest population in the world is praise worthy.

The landscape of pediatric oncology in India has seen a revamp with the formation and galvanization of the Indian Pediatric Oncology Group (InPOG), with a mission to improve the outcomes of children with cancer in India by collaborative research, under the guidance and leadership of astute and experienced pediatric oncologists. This would go a long way in improving survival through better understanding of disease biology, adaptive treatment protocols and translating innovative ideas in a structured and disciplined manner. The ball is already rolling. What better time and place to spearhead the mission than by hosting the congress!
