The European Society of Thoracic Surgeons joins together more than 1.200 members coming from 70 different countries all over the world. Every year since 1993, a European Conference on General Thoracic Surgery is celebrated, achieving a high quality scientific content. In the latest years, several educational courses and the School of Thoracic Surgery are gaining special prominence. We invite you to visit this website, where you will learn more about our Society.

The European Society of Thoracic Surgeons was formed in 1993 to represent General Thoracic Surgeons in Europe. ESTS now has over 1400 members in 80 countries.

24th European Conference on General Thoracic Surgery

A conference App will be made available for participants containing all necessary information, featuring and replacing, among other items the complete conference programme and abstract book.

The ESTS Conference App will be accessible for download on Android and IOS devices (smartphones, tablets, iPhones and iPads).
A limited number of iPod Touch will also be available for rental for the duration of the conference.

Abstract Submission will open on 1 December 2015 and close on 8 January 2016

The Lunch Symposium slot allocation is made on first-come-first-served basis;

The programme of the Symposium has to be approved by ESTS, costs for catering and speakers are not included.
