Hospital responsibility for the environment: sustainable structures and processes in the health sector

Hospitals face huge and varied challenges. They are an essential factor in ensuring health care. It is all the more important that hospitals continue to develop in these times of change and transformation. Hospitals are also responsible for sustainable and resource-saving management. The requirements apply here as well as in all other fields of economy and society.

Accordingly, there are increasing expectations from politics, society, patients and especially from employees. The hospital management must develop and implement concepts together with partners from science, industry and politics. The basis for this is a corporate culture that focuses on sustainability, excellence and the environment as central issues and creates the conditions for structures, processes, decisions and behaviors to be aligned accordingly.

The aim is to make a concentrated contribution to the motivation of those responsible in the hospitals for the design of a sustainable hospital for the changing future.
