13th World Congress on Design and Health 2024

We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 13th World Congress on Design & Health (WCDH 2024) in partnership with the Politecnico di Milano and with the collaboration with world’s renowned academic institutions and healthcare industries. Today, many people spend more than 90 percent of their lives in buildings. Studies indicate that the aesthetic qualities of architecture have an impact on our mood, cognitive functioning, behavior and even health.

The WCDH 2024 provides an opportunity to engage with the world’s foremost interdisciplinary network of architects, designers, health planners, engineers, public health scientists, physicians, health administrators, psychologists, economists, and other key decision-makers. The pre-congress program will focus on Academy Ph.D. Students as young leaders to develop relationships for Mentor and Mentee, and the post-congress study tour includes visits to Milan’s leading healthcare facilities and other innovative built environments. The high quality of the research presentations in combination with a fascinating range of stimulating case studies, a trade show displaying the latest innovations and solutions in the field, and a varied social and cultural program, will ensure participants enjoy a remarkable experience in Milano. A panel discussion concludes the Congress, with the participation of most distinguished scientists and practitioner for health promotion and the future of European Healthcare Design.
