The First and Second “En Face” OCT and OCT Angiography Congresses held in Rome December 2013 and 2014, were successful: intense two days meetings with 670 (2013) and 780 (2014) attendees. They were academic feasts with world renowned faculty. Presentations brought in many new concepts in “En face Imaging” and OCT Angiography that appear to have huge development possibilities. These Congresses proved that:
- OCT Angiography times have arrived and fulfill a huge research and clinical need
- “En Face” OCT imaging is now a widely accepted technology
- “En Face” OCT imaging and OCT Angiography attract the best and the brightest ophthalmologists, scientists, engineers, retina specialists and clinicians
- Industry is aware of our scientific and clinical needs and is actively pursuing the development of innovative OCT imaging and OCT Angiography strategies
