ESC Congress is the world’s largest gathering of cardiovascular professionals contributing to global awareness of the latest clinical trials and breakthrough discoveries. ESC Congress 2019 together with the World Congress of Cardiology takes place from 31 August to 4 September at the Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France.

The  ESC Congress 2019 scientific programme has lots to offer this year. Here are a few key sessions to look out for:

  • Six Hot Line Sessions which will showcase 27 clinical trials.
  • Thirteen Late-Breaking Science Sessions which will include 60 studies covering cardiovascular pharmacology, intervention, acute coronary syndromes, imaging, digital health, prevention, heart failure, arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation, and aortic valve stenosis.
  • Late-Breaking Basic and Translational Science Sessions that will discuss 15 studies on hypertension and endothelial dysfunction; atherosclerosis and aortic stenosis; acute coronary syndromes and heart failure.
  • Six Hot Line Press Conferences and Two Lifestyle Press Conferences with the themes of "Too Young to Die' and "Your Choices for Heart Health."

There will be several notable late-breaking studies presented at this year's ESC Congress and a great deal of scientific and clinical material for participants, guests, and online viewers, respectively.

With more than 500 sessions across the five-day meeting, we expect the ESC Congress to be immensely productive and knowledgeable. HealthManagement.org will be there as we report things as they happen.
