Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an essential and versatile diagnostic tool in clinical medicine. It is also an expensive modality and one of the primary drivers of overall healthcare costs (along with other imaging modalities). Healthcare organisations are already facing significant challenges amid the pandemic, increasing prevalence of cardiovascular disease and cancer and an ageing population. MRI may be a pivotal tool but also an expensive one.

In this webinar, our speakers will talk about the need to maximise the value of MRI in a clinical setting and to effectively measure its clinical utility in terms of patient outcomes. There is a critical need to improve methods that healthcare uses to measure the clinical benefit of diagnostic tests. The goal should be to use imaging-specific outcome measures that can help optimise the use of MRI and reduce the overall cost to the healthcare organisation. This webinar will provide greater insight into how the value of MRI can be maximised, with improved patient outcomes, and lower cost.
