HealthManagement.org Editorial Board Member Mansoor Fatehi, MD, CIIP, has announced his new appointment as Chair of the Global Outreach Committee (GOC) at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM). This prestigious role will see Dr. Fatehi lead the committee in a three-year term focused on advancing imaging informatics globally.
The committee aims to:
- Expand the recruitment of students and professionals from underrepresented groups into imaging informatics.
- Foster the establishment of regional and national informatics societies in the countries the committee serves.
- Enhance accessibility and affordability of education in imaging informatics for Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC).
