Position's Purpose And Essential Functions

Laredo Medical Center is looking for a Radiology Assistant for our Radiology Department. The radiology assistant delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated patient care services as delegated by department supervisor. Responsibilities include work performed in Imaging Department such as checking in patients, scheduling exams, transporting patients, assist Technologists in bringing pt into the exam room and on & off the exam table, assist technologist in lifting and turning of patients during a procedure, entering or accessing information in related systems, release of films or CD's, burning CD's, printing reports and other duties as necessary.

Education

Applicants Job Requirements Include:

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required: Current enrollment in a Radiologic Technologist program.
  
  

Experience

• Preferred: One (1)+ years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in Radiology Program.
  
  

Licenses / Certificates

• Required: Basic Life Support obtained within 30 days of start date.
