71st Congress of the ESCVS

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the 71st Congress of the ESCVS, the European Society of Cardiovascular and EndoVascular Surgery, which will be held in Paris, France, for two and a half days from 14 to 16 June 2023.

This meeting aims to bring together cardiac and vascular surgeons from all over Europe and beyond. The programme will consist of scientific sessions, conferences and round tables that will allow participants to discuss a wide range of topics. A large space is dedicated to education programmes in the form of tutorials, hands on workshops & wet labs demonstrations.

For the first time, the ESCVS joins Aortic Live for an entire day of LIVE cases. A full day, Thursday, will be dedicated to several live cases, in collaboration with Prof. Heinz Jacob, transmitted from different operating theatres in Germany and France, with renowned surgeons. The day will be interspersed with plenary sessions on cross-disciplinary topics.

Friday will be dedicated to cardiac and vascular surgery. There will also be sessions for young surgeons. The programme offers them numerous training and educational opportunities as well as simulation workshops.

We welcome all cardiac and vascular surgeons from Europe and beyond to this important meeting. Prior to the congress, we will organise monthly virtual tutorials/webinars on the platform to prepare the congress.

June is a wonderful time in Paris and the conference will take place at Paris Saclay University, Faculty of Medicine, a modern, cutting-edge campus located at the Hôpital Bicêtre, one of the most important hospitals in Paris.
