The healthcare ecosystem meets at SantExpo

SantExpo is the leading French event organized by the Fédération hospitalière de France, bringing together every year decision-makers and healthcare professionals involved in the management, digitalization, care pathways, patient experience, equipment, materials, construction and transformation of healthcare and medico-social establishments.

A word from Arnaud Robinet, President of the FHF

Founded in 1924, the Fédération hospitalière de France will be celebrating its centenary at this year's SantExpo. In addition to celebrating what has united public hospitals, services and medico-social establishments for the past 100 years, and recognizing the remarkable commitment of all our professionals, the centenary is also about projecting our healthcare system into the future. In 100 years, our healthcare system has never ceased to transform, evolve, innovate and overcome major crises. The Covid-19 pandemic demonstrated just how urgent it is to overhaul our healthcare system and look to the future. Ségur de la Santé, France Relance, the Innovation Santé 2030 plan and the announcement of a programming law for the Elderly are all markers of the need to rethink the way we work together, to be imaginative and to invest in guaranteeing excellence in healthcare for all. 2024 must mark a turning point for "Building tomorrow's healthcare": this is the theme that will unite us on May 21-22 and 23 at Porte de Versailles. Users, manufacturers, start-ups, self-employed professionals, public and private establishments... The diversity of the healthcare system is a source of wealth, which should multiply the capacity for innovation and encourage new collaborations with the same objective: to build the future of excellent healthcare for everyone. For many years now, SantExpo has been THE annual healthcare event for bringing this hope to life.

With 100 years of history behind it, the FHF is more than just an institution; it is an essential pillar of the French healthcare and medico-social landscape. Over the decades, the Federation has evolved, innovated and responded to the major challenges facing public health. Its history is intrinsically linked to that of the hospitals, medical-social establishments and hospital workers who, through their dedication, contribute to "Building tomorrow's healthcare". The FHF is resolutely looking to the future. As well as celebrating its history, the FHF is fully committed to overhauling the healthcare system to meet current requirements and anticipate future needs.

The 2024 edition of SantExpo, scheduled for May 21-23 at Porte de Versailles, will be held under the patronage of Emmanuel Macron, President of the Republic of France. This presidential support gives the event an exceptional dimension. Buoyed by the success of the 2023 event, Arnaud Robinet, Mayor of Reims and Chairman of the Fédération hospitalière de France, aims to amplify this momentum even further, with a resolutely ambitious and unifying message. The presidential patronage underlines the strategic importance of SantExpo, confirming the government's commitment to innovation, cooperation and excellence in healthcare.
