Rusdi Bin Abd Rashid
Dr Rusdi Abd. Rashid earned his MBBS (1998) and Master’s in Psychological Medicine (2006) at Universiti Malaya, then completed addiction‑medicine training in Melbourne, Salzburg and WHO’s Korea centre (2007‑08). A senior lecturer at UM, he heads the Centre for Addiction Sciences and substance‑abuse services at UMMC. Dr Rusdi has co‑led Malaysia’s pilot methadone, prison harm‑reduction, mosque‑based SEDAR and PUSPEN rehab programmes, and serves on the national MMT committee.
