• Francois Louw

    Dr. W Francois Louw, CCFP(EM), FCFP, MBChB (Pret), DA(SA), ECFMG, Adv. Dipl Pain Mgt CAPM (Interventional Pain Management) is a Clinical Assistant Professor, UBC Dept. of Family Practice, and has a special interest in Comprehensive Pain Medicine. Apart from being a GP Anesthetist and ER physician, he also holds Advanced Credentialing in Interventional Pain Management (CAPM). Dr. Louw is a Past President of the Canadian Association of Orthopaedic Medicine, organizes CME/CPD events, and has been teaching regenerative injection therapy modalities to students, residents and fellow MD colleagues over many years. His current research interests include regenerative treatments for osteoarthritis, diabetic neuropathy, TMJ prolotherapy, PRP injections for facet arthropathy, and opioid reduction strategies. He currently provides interventional pain treatments at the Bill Nelems Pain and Research Centre in Kelowna, British Columbia.
