Since its beginning in 1969, Three Rivers Optical has been, first and foremost, a family business. That means the long-term success of the company is directly the result of the hard work, the unshakable loyalty, and the spirit of adventure shared by my wife Madeline and my three children.The very first Three Rivers Optical manufacturing complex was a 250 square foot store room in McKees Rocks. We started out grinding only wholesale uncut glass lenses. Which meant our customers had to have their own edging and finishing equipment. Obviously this was not consistant with my vision of a full-service optical lab.
