The washing machine served as the packaging department and the warehouse was a typical suburban garage. It was 1980 and Dr. Stewart Lipton fused his entrepreneurial spirit, his clinical experience as Lab Director at a major Chicago Hospital and his wife Roberta's business acumen, "if we can't find a way, we will make one." This simple, tenacious problem solving mission has remained the guiding principle behind the business since its modest beginnings.Today, our almost one thousand current customers commonly refer to us as ‘those gadget people.'
