Back in 1972, we introduced the world to digital dictation, and we hold the founding patent for it. Since then, R•TAS Systems has been quick to adopt emerging technology, resulting in many industry firsts – all for the medical industry.Some of our firsts: we created the first Laser Mic, the first RADmike, as well as the first Partitioned dictation system, ScreenAlert, and DocBox. Our innovations spring from listening to customers and understanding how hospitals and physicians work. Our products leverage new technology (case in point: the iSeries) and will include voice recognition when that technology lives up to our stringent reliability standards.
