The Lyons Companies is a comprehensive metal fabrication facility headquartered in Louisville, KY. What began as a medical supply company more than 50 years ago, has grown into a major manufacturer of custom metal products for myriad industries such as Retail, Agriculture, Military, Marine, Electronic, Telecommunications, Material Handling Equipment, Appliance, Transportation, Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning, Food Processing & Preparation Equipment, and Packaging Equipment.The Lyons Companies remained family-owned until the ever-increasing demand for fabricated stainless in late 2007 required that the company expand. In 2008, Lyons joined forces with the Connecticut-based investment firm, New Stream Capital, to supply additional financial support to improve operations and fund new plant initiatives. The additional resources provided by the new ownership team coupled with the institutional expertise of Lyons's management group has enabled the company to invest significantly in additional state-of-the-art equipment, computer-aided product design, and manufacturing technology; implement company-wide LEAN initiatives; and upgrade technical sales, engineering, and customer service support throughout North America.
