Hubert was founded just after World war II, in Cincinnati, Ogio By George Hubert, Sr. At that time, Clininnati was a major meat-processing center with most meat-releated products sold through independent butcher shopes. George decided to create a business to supply meat packing house and retail butchers with the operating supplies they needed with a high degree of customer services. George began by making sales calls and then delivering the orders out of the trunk of his car. The formula worked and the company grew.
