The Festival of Genomics & Biodata

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary events. And so, it’s our pleasure to invite you to an all-new, extraordinary Festival of Genomics and Biodata! Not only is the Festival the UK’s largest genomics event, it’s also become a place for the global genomics community to meet, learn and get inspired.

This year, expect the chance to make new, exciting connections with 7,000+ global attendees, plus hear incredible talks, speakers and debates and enjoy extensive networking opportunities.

Driven by our social mission, the Festival is still free to attend for over 90% of our audience. You can expect even more speakers and a wider range of experiences, plus extended topic coverage of areas like multi-omics, single cell and spatial analysis, liquid biopsy, cancer genomics, biodata and more.

Enter the “omics-verse”

A revamped agenda includes not only more genomics sessions than ever before, but also an increased focus on multi-omics and biodata approaches, helping you to capture multi-dimensional biological intelligence at an unprecedented resolution.

Covering the entire genomics and biodata lifecycle

The Festival covers the entire genomics workflow end-to-end, as well as how genomics data is integrated with forms of biodata to help you make meaningful research and clinical decisions. This year’s agenda will also have an extended focus on clinical genomics, cancer genomics, single cell & spatial analysis, liquid biopsy, biodata and multi-omics/advanced sequencing approaches.

Registration is free for end users

Our social mission, to deliver the benefits of genomics to patients faster, means both physical and digital attendance is free to anyone working exclusively for a university, pharma company, not-for-profit or healthcare (including the NHS).

More experiences than you can shake a stick at

There’s plenty of action taking place away from the agenda too. With interactive workshops, focusedspeed networking, a drinks reception, Talkaoke (our “flying saucer of chat”), chill-out zones, meeting space, the re-charge zone, to name just a few. Keep checking the website for new additions!

Attend from anywhere and never miss a session

As the Festival expands and because of travel restrictions, it can be hard for everyone to attend the Festival in-person, particularly for our friends in the NHS or overseas. To make things easier, the entire Festival agenda will be available digitally, as well as on-demand for a period of two weeks following the event.

A well -earned reunion for the UK genomics & biodata community

Everyone loves a good get-together, and we’ve missed welcoming in-person attendees! Join us at the Festival to re-unite with old friends, make new ones, discover new technologies, debate the big questions, question our incredible speakers and celebrate everything that genomics has contributed over the last two years.
