Micro-X and Thales join forces to anticipate the growing needs of the 3D imaging market.

Micro-X, the global leader in cold-cathode X-ray technology, and Thales, leader in security and medical imaging, are looking to develop X-ray imaging systems based on X-ray sources using Carbon NanoTubes (CNT) cathodes technology.

The combination of Micro-X with Thales looks to combine revolutionary technology to design novel, miniaturised X-ray sources to tackle both the security and medical markets; from airport checkpoints to future medical imaging devices. Most notably, at airport checkpoints this could see faster screening times from 200 to 1200 per hour, with improved threat detections.
