Prof Stephen Baker was the former Chair of the Department of Radiology, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He was a long-standing member of HealthManagement.org’s Editorial Board, also previously serving on the Editorial Board of Imaging Management.


Prof Baker was a renowned educator and researcher and one of 13 faculty members to be inducted into the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School's Stuart D. Cook, M.D., Master Educators Guild.


His research focused on radiology management, functional MR imaging, gastrointestinal radiology, emergency radiology and public policy issues in radiology. He has published over 200 research papers and authored ten books.


During his professional career, Prof Baker held several leadership positions, including serving as past president of the American Society of Emergency Radiology. He also received an honorary doctor of medicine (MD) from Sriram Chandra Bhanja and was named Castle Connelly's Best Doctors in America.
