Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refund requests must be sent in writing to the NATA office ([email protected] if by e-mail) and will be processed no later than eight weeks after the last day of the convention. Refunds will be issued in the same form as the payment received.

NATA will offer a full refund of registration fees through May 19, 2017. Between May 20 and June 15, 2017, refunds will be granted less a $25 administrative fee – or attendees can choose to apply their full payment (no $25 fee) to the 2018 convention. Between June 16 and July 31, 2017, attendees will only be given the option of applying their full payment to the 2018 convention. No cancellations will be processed after July 31, 2017.

NATA’s Travel agency, Colwick Travel, has negotiated great discounts on airfare and car rental for convention attendees!

Daily Convention Shuttle

Select NATA hotels will have shuttle service to the George R. Brown Convention Center for official NATA convention events. Hotels with shuttle service will be noted on the NATA housing website and in the convention guide you receive onsite. All other properties are walking hotels.

Shuttle buses begin service on Monday, June 26 at 6:30 a.m. just prior to the opening of registration and end 30 minutes after the Welcome Reception concludes. Tuesday shuttle service starts 45 minutes before educational programming begins and ends 30 minutes after district meetings. Wednesday and Thursday, shuttle service starts 45 minutes before and ends 30 minutes after educational programming. Buses run every 20 to 30 minutes.

Airport Transportation

All official NATA hotels are located in downtown Houston, which is approximately 11 miles from William P Hobby Airport (HOU) and 22 miles from Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).

Hobby Airport taxi service is available at Curb Zone 1 taxi stands located outside baggage claim. Approximate fare, not including gratuity, is $26 one-way. Price is subject to change. Nominal additional airport surcharge(s) may apply. UberX estimated fare is $13-$17. Actual fare based on demand and time/day of travel.

Bush Intercontinental Airport taxi service is available at each terminal outside baggage claim/arrivals. Approximate fare, not including gratuity, is $53 one-way. Price subject to change. Nominal additional airport surcharge(s) may apply. UberX estimated fare is $24-$31. Actual fare based on demand and time/day of travel.

Houston Convention Center Parking

Parking is available in garage and surface lots throughout downtown Houston and near the GRBCC. An interactive map will help you find a parking location that best suits your needs.
