International Trauma Congress (ITC) Dubai

Covering the most up-to- date scientific and technical aspects, our exciting programme of presentations, instructional lectures, case discussions and interactive sessions bring together an international congregation from the Middle East and beyond.

The 1st International Trauma Congress 2017, was also held in Dubai last 20th -22nd of February 2017. ITC was concluded to pursue its vision to organize the International Trauma Congress to be held annually. With its total of 37 Speakers who is renowned globally, from which 17 speakers from the region including Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and United Arab Emirates and 20 International Speakers from Belgium, Canada, Columbia, France, Germany, Netherland, Switzerland UK and USA.

They have discussed and shared their experiences regarding the most advance techniques in Trauma Surgery, recent scientific and technical aspects and modern evidence - based medicine.
The Congress came up with more than 90 instructional lectures and presentations, which was beneficial to over 600 delegates, from Physician with different specialization, nurses and other healthcare professionals as well as students. The participants were from 19 Different Countries which includes Canada, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Macedonia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Sudan, Turkey, United States, UAE and more.
Providing a truly global perspective, we have collaborated with 6 international associations namely, AO Trauma Middle East, Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (Asia-Pacific Trauma Society), Egyptian Orthopaedic Association, Emirates Orthopaedic Society and German Society for Orthopaedic and Trauma(DGOU).

The 1st International Trauma Congress was accredited by the Dubai Health Authority with 22 CME Hours and 18 CME Hours accredited by the Ministry of Health for the 3 days hands on cadaver workshop, which was held in Sharjah Surgical Institute, University of Sharjah, UAE.
