ICCIR 2016

ICCIR 2016

The International Congress on Complications in Interventional Radiology (ICCIR) is a unique event in the IR calendar, offering a discreet forum for doctors with diverse experience levels to explore the difficult but necessary subject of procedural complications.

The ICCIR is based on the belief that continuously refining the practice of interventional radiology requires confronting the topic of complications. The congress allows participants to openly discuss cases that did not go as planned, and gives young doctors the opportunity to interact directly with colleagues who experienced such situations.

The event’s discreet and professional environment is vital; the faculty is carefully selected and overall participation is limited to 250. Hand-picked case reports constitute another essential element. ICCIR attracts a very diverse but dedicated group, united in their commitment to keep perfecting their work. As a result, discussions are exceptionally frank, engaging and informative.

This unusual approach and format have been tremendously popular, and ICCIR has quickly established itself as the main complications meeting in Europe.
