THE IMPACT OF BIG DATA

International Symposium on Big Data in Medicine, Nov 20-21, 2017 at the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam

Big Data looks set to become a game-changer for healthcare and is likely to have a groundbreaking effect in all areas – from health service to population health management and from prevention to treatment and care. Yet, though there are many positive effects to be expected, numerous questions also arise: How will the way doctors and hospitals work change in future? What new questions arise for patients with Big Data – for example, how can the loud call for data security be answered?
