The very beautiful and cosmopolitan city of Vilnius, Lithuania was the host of the 26th Annual Meeting of the European Society of Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care. This bi-annual event is one of the rare European congresses dedicated to this very specialized topic. This year again, the event attracted more than 750 participants from all over the world and with different professional activities.

Maquet products on display

This specialized event was the perfect place for Maquet to display the SERVO-n, a ventilator specially developed for neonatal and pediatric patients. The very colorful design and the exceptional features of this neonatal ventilator attracted many visitors; potential future customers were interested to learn more about its capabilities. In addition to SERVO-n, the intuitive ICU ventilator SERVO-U, the Pulsion PulsioFlex monitor with the PiCCO device for hemodynamic monitoring and CARDIOHELP heart-lung support system were on display on the booth.

Pre-congress workshop

Just prior to the official start of the congress, Maquet took part in one of the workshops dedicated to neonatal ventilation. This workshop, handled by Pr. Peter Rimensberger from Geneva, focused on the perfect setup of a ventilator in neonates and older children. The SERVO-U was used during the workshop for product demonstrations and hands-on sessions around NAVA, which allowed a very positive communication and exchange around the Maquet devices.
