Congress Venue
Maritim proArte
Friedrichstraße 151
10117 Berlin
Germany

On behalf of Prof. Nicolas Grenier (ESMOFIR president) and Prof. Olivier Clément (meeting president), it is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the First Workshop on Clinical Functional Imaging. The workshop is to be held in Berlin, Germany, from July 3-5, 2014. The varied programme is equally dedicated to most recent developments and challenges in clinical functional imaging as well as to education and training.

Principles of diffusion and DCE-CT and –MRI, as well as applications to breast, prostate and liver cancer will be covered by entire sessions and workshops with live clinical cases. Plenary lectures will provide the participants an overview on the potential of PET-MRI for clinical molecular and functional imaging, on imaging of tumor microenvironment and on imaging at different scales. All radiologists and non-radiologists attracted by these new applications of quantitative imaging should be interested by this event.

Learning objectives:
- To become familiar with the principles of validation of functional imaging biomarkers
- To learn about principles of evaluation of functional imaging of microcirculation
- To become familiar with microstructural basis of diffusion imaging
- To learn about the impact of functional imaging in liver, prostate and breast cancers

We cordially invite you to join the First Workshop on Clinical Functional Imaging, to take the opportunity to meet colleagues and friends, make new contacts, exchange knowledge and ideas and last but not least, experience Berlin’s unique atmosphere.

We look forward to welcoming you in Berlin in 2014!
