Cannes Lions, the world’s largest festival dedicated to world-class creativity, will return to the Palais des Festivals et des Congres for its 66th edition in June 2019.


More than 16, 000 major players in the creative and marketing communications industry will arrive in Cannes to learn, celebrate and network at this one-of-a-kind event.

A dedicated programme will present five days of talks, workshops, networking events, classes and awards. This year, more brands than ever are expected to participate, 1,000 plus speakers will take to the stage and over 40,000 ideas will be exhibited.

Delegates can expect a whole host of creative legends to be discussing topical issues and imparting invaluable advice. At the 2017 edition, actress Thandie Newton, musician Johnny Marr, British Vogue editor Edward Enninful and leaders at Facebook and YouTube were all on the line-up.

Opportunities for networking will be available in abundance. The Cannes Lions Meet Up programme will offer a rich variety of curated networking sessions and a number of fringe events will take place at locations across the city, such as on the beach and at iconic hotels.

The comprehensive awards programme will also be a crucial part of the festival. The Lions are the most coveted and established awards for the creative and marketing industry. Trophies are recognised globally as the ultimate achievement in creativity and they will be handed out during glittering ceremonies.

Another regular sight will be the fleet of luxury yachts lined up in the Old Port, located next to the Palais des Festivals. Renting a charter yacht during Cannes Lions gives companies an unrivalled platform from which to host clients and contacts and do business.
