BIR Annual Congress 2015

The British Institute of Radiology
Divided into two parallel sessions over 2 days, topics include radiation protection issues in molecular imaging and radiotherapy, clinical hybrid imaging in oncology, primers for the non-specialist, emergency radiology—advances in trauma imaging and essentials for the radiology trainee.

Our Annual Congress provides an open and relaxed environment for delegates to share and exchange ideas and experiences, visit our industry exhibition, showcase their research via our interactive e-poster sessions, and network both during the day and at our evening networking events.

You could be part of our Annual Congress by submitting an abstract for our e-poster exhibition

BIR 2015

“Inspiring”, “a great experience” and “excellent variety” are just some of the comments from our Annual Congress in 2014. We have built on this success and listened to your feedback to produce an even better programme for 2015.

Who should attend?

Anyone with an interest and passion for radiology, radiation oncology and the underlying sciences, including radiologists, physicists, radiographers, oncologists, physicians and radiation protection advisers and supervisors.

Five reasons to attend

  1. Enhance your knowledge
  2. Hear from experts in the field
  3. Network with colleagues and peers
  4. Extensive ePoster exhibition
  5. Meet industry

BIR Annual Congress ePoster exhibition 2015

Following their sucessful introduction at last year's congress, this year will see the return of electronic posters. They not only provide researchers the opportunity to display their work digitally but also give delegates the chance to have one-to-one interaction with presenters in the ePoster sessions. ePosters are also available to view online before, during and after the congress.
