Author Guide

 ICU Management
Thank you for considering contributing to ICU Management (ICU) as a guest author. Please take a minute to read these guidelines, as it will facilitate the publication of your paper and help avoid unnecessary editing problems.

ICU is the global most recognised management portal and is the official management and practice journal of the International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (ISICEM). ICU is devoted to supporting cross-departmental collaboration.

The guest author is recognised to be an authority on the subject of the article, and by inviting distinguished authors we ensure that a high standard of information is presented to our readers. On behalf of ICU Management, we thank you very much in advance for your contribution.

While you are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information in the article, we may nevertheless have to make some editorial changes for a variety of reasons. For example, we are pleased to help you with the English, if this is not your native language. Unfortunately, we sometimes find ourselves forced to make unexpected changes in the length of an article, or to postpone publication to a following issue. Therefore it is only possible to give you an estimate of the actual publication issue. You will be sent a copy of your article for approval before publication (if any changes are made), and a copy of the actual journal (print or pdf) or the link to the journal on our website.

To expedite the processing and publication of your article, it is important that it be the correct length when submitted. We ask for articles of between 1400-2100 words (3-4 pages in print layout, depending on figures and tables included). In English, the length of one page, including references, should be approximately 430 words. You are welcome to provide suitable graphics if you wish. Please also provide a passport style photograph of yourself in tiff or high quality jpg format (min. 300 dpi), or send us an original through the post, clearly marked with your identity. Finally, please also include both a mailing address and an email address that we may publish with your article.

Further details regarding your contribution, including deadlines, will be included in a future email, which will also specify the name of the editor responsible for your contribution. If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact the editor from whom you have received these guidelines. And we are looking forward to working with you, and we thank you again for your time.
