International Hospital Federation Congress

The International Hospital Federation (IHF) is the worldwide forum and knowledge hub for hospitals, national hospital associations and healthcare organizations that offers policy guidance and facilitates the exchange of strategic information and experience in health sector management.

As a membership organization of national bodies representing healthcare service delivery from around the world, the IHF is recognized in the international arena as the voice of the global healthcare community.

Based in Geneva, Switzerland, the primary goal of IHF is to improve the health of society by helping worldwide hospitals to enhance the performance of the services they deliver to the population. For doing this the IHF stablish partnerships with international health organizations, create events, participate in projects and publish papers and a journal.

International Hospital Federation


The World Hospital Congress of the International Hospital Federation (IHF) is a unique global forum that brings together key drivers of national and international policy, management, financial trends and solutions in healthcare management and service delivery. Through this forum multidisciplinary exchange of knowledge, expertise and experiences are facilitated, together with dialogue on best practices in leadership in hospital and healthcare management and delivery of services.

The Congress programme, is in the main, scientific in its objective and non-commercial in mission. However, it reaches out to industry through the unique opportunities provided to exhibitorsandsponsors to enjoy visibility on a global platform on which to showcase their products, meet and network with industry leaders, policy decision makers and professionals from the healthcare sector.

The IHF World Hospital Congress is that one-stop shop for the healthcare professional seeking the opportunity/environment in which to engage ina 360 degree learning and knowledge-sharing experience among peers.


Registration and Fees


Registration fees include access to all educational sessions, light breakfast (Tuesday through Thursday), coffee breaks, lunch (Tuesday and Wednesday), the evening reception (Tuesday) and one ticket to the Gala (Wednesday), unless otherwise indicated.

IHF member: $970 USD
IHF non-member: $1070 USD
Spouse/Guest: $395 USD - includes access to the exhibit hall only, light breakfast, one ticket to the evening reception (Tuesday) and one ticket to the Gala (Wednesday)
Gala only: $200 USD

Attendees may also purchase a ticket for an optional tour of a local hospital for $25 USD. All fees from this activity will be donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross for the Health Care in Danger Project
