We would like to inform you of the recent decision taken by the ESCMID Executive Committee to relocate the 26th ECCMID from Istanbul to Amsterdam from 9 – 12 April 2016. Taking into account the current geo political situation in Turkey and the region, we have come to the conclusion that it is in the interest of all stakeholders to relocate the congress. We are looking forward to bringing the world’s leading experts and innovative research to ECCMID. The Programme Committee prepared various sessions on parallel tracks, covering the latest developments. We look forward to seeing you, along with thousands of your colleagues from around the globe in Amsterdam.

Climate
April is a wonderful month to visit Amsterdam; tulips bloom everywhere and you are able to enjoy 5h of sunshine during the 14 hours of daylight April is also the second-driest month - after February - but considerably warmer! The average temperatures are between 12.8°C (55°F) and 3.3°C (38°F).

CME Accreditation
ECCMID is applying for CME Accreditation of the 26th ECCMID Congress. Updates regarding the number of CME credits will be posted on the website when information becomes available.
