The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) is calling for the brightest and most innovative ideas that solve a unique challenge in the sector.

 

SIIM has announced its annual Innovation Challenge for problem-solving submissions on software, apps, hardware and other informatics technologies.

The 2020 SIIM Innovation Challenge winner will receive $10,000 to dive deeper into product development, and gain access to valuable resources through SIIM, including knowledgeable members of the business and academic sectors, to help bring this idea to fruition.

 

The award process is being co-chaired by Seetharam C. Chadalavada, Informatics Assistant Professor of Radiology, Interventional Radiology from the University of Cincinnati Medical Centre and Adam H. Kaye, a radiologist Advanced Radiology Consultants LLC.

 

The deadline for applications in March 27, 2020, followed by semi-finalists’ presentations and announcement on June 26 on the winning project at the SIIM 2020 Annual Meeting.
