Uromesh® UM01 has a slightly wider central section for cases of incontinence with cystocele (1st grade) and can be positioned through suprapubic, transvaginal or transobturator approach . Uromesh® UM02 has a rounded anatomical shape, providing a support area for 2nd grade prolapses. Cases of 3rd grade can also be treated after reducing the prolapse via a bladder-vaginal wall procedure (cystopexy). It can be positioned through transobturator approach . The patented central section is re-absorbed by hydrolysis within 3 months of being implanted. Both Uromesh UM01 and Uromesh UM02 have protective sheaths to facilitate passage through the tissue, and pre-assembled ring sutures for insertion into the eye of the Herniamesh introducer needle.
