The Brachumera Sport arm ergometer an ideal means of getting an arm and upper body workout, of getting a cardiovascular workout if the legs are not up to the task or cannot be used, and as a therapeutic device while recovering from arm or shoulder injuries. It is especially useful to those who engage in sports such as kayaking or swimming where both the arms and the shoulders play a major role. The unit is 'pedaled' by the arms and hands. The pedal force measurements allow both force balance and stroke efficiency to be carefully analyzed. This ergometer can deliver a load of from 8 to 2500 watts, adjustable in 1 watt steps, either manually or by protocol. It is easy to connect, easy to use, and is easy to move around. An RS232 port allows the ergometer to be connected to a PC and to most ECG units.
