Medartis Distal Ulna Plate 2.5 stabilizes the carpus and the hand, as well as, the stable fixation of distal ulna fractures guarantees the similarity of the articulations and permits earlier wrist mobilization. The head/neck of the distal ulnar is frequently anatomically tiny and narrow. The slimmer, lower profile Aptus plate design is a good match offering the needed stability and strength. The design of the plate lets both an ulnar (lateral) and volar/dorsal plate position. There are two plate designs: * Plate thickness 1.6 mm HexaDrive in all screws, cortical and locking * Consistent screw diameter: 1 twist drill, 1 screwdriver, locking or non-locking * Screw lengths Ø 2.5 mm cortical screws: 8-34 mm (in 2 mm steps) Ø 2.5 mm locking screws
