The full-size eloquent neonate with body of a newborn is delivered by HAL®. Airway management exercises are facilitated by realistic airway of esophagus, trachea, vocal cords and tongue. The unsurpassed performance of CPR is enabled by the internal organs. Suctioning is complemented by nasal or oral intubation. The crico prominence allows the Sellick movement. The chest rise is realistic, accounting for bilateral lung expansion. Intubation is implemented by uncuffed 2.5 ET tube or LMA or a Miller 1 blade. Apart from healthy skin tone, central and peripheral cyanosis could also be viewed. By means of hand-held squeeze bulb, pulsatile element is simulated and umbilical catheterization is carried out. Either the two finger alternate compression technique or the two-thumb encircling methodology accounts for simulation of the neonatal CPR. Fragile IO access having optional intraosseous leg, along with intravenous and injection systems having optional training arm are performed. Carrying bas, instruction manual, connecting cables, 100-240 VAC of global power supply, Omni™ Code Blue® pack, Omni™ Controller and PEDI Blue neonate constitute the simulator.
