For intracutaneous suturing Description The intracutaneous suture is usually continuous and is performed with either a curved cutting needle or a straight cutting needle. As this method involves removal of the suture,a monofilament, non-capillary material with a very smooth surface is required. The set consists of - Safil® Parenchyma-Set is indicated for adaptation and haemostasis of parenchymal organs - 2 different-coloured fixation clips (red and yellow) - 1 curved reverse cutting or straight cutting needle attached to Premilene®, a flexible monofilament made of blue polypropylene Advantages Simplification of the intracutaneous suture technique and fixation of suture end with sterile, disposable fixation clips Time-saving Excellent cosmetic result Indication Securex® is indicated for tissue approximation in all dermal wounds (intracutaneous suture) that are not under tension and where the most favourable cosmetic result isdesired. Note Sizes available USP 4/0 (1.5 metric) to USP 2/0 (3 metric)
