A PDMS is no more a standalone solution today, but instead now it can be integrated into hospital information system with regards to ergonomics and functionality. NEXUS has acknowledged this need and developed NEXUS / PDMS as an essential part of NEXUS / HIS. A PDMS has made it feasible to realize the comprehensive series of functions that are needed in an intensive care unit, along with the equipment of HIS.
