MARS™ is a 4-bladed Minimal Access Retractor System designed to access the spine through a less invasive approach. MARS™ permits optimal access to the posterior spine without the significant tissue damage associated with traditional open techniques. The system includes two retractor sizes and a variety of blade lengths, with a removable medial blade for an increased working area. Independent blade retraction: Individual retraction of each blade limits tissue damage Independent blade angulation: Individual, infinite angulation up to 20° increases working area through a small incision Multiple blade options: Top-loading blades with straight and beveled tips may be used for optimal anatomic fit
