The MD1 offers four different types of current: two cutting modes (2 x 50 Watt) as well as two different coagulation modes (1 x 50 Watt, 1 x 35 Watt). The desired mode can be selected by a mere touch of the corresponding button. The user-friendly rotary switch guarantees easy and continuous power setting. Additonally, the device offers a quick power reduction by pushing the Micro-switch. Therefore, the maximum cutting power reduces from 50 to 20 Watt and the maximum power of both coagulation modes to 10 Watt each. Of course, the MD1 offers a permanent neutral electrode monitoring during the complete operation process. The system can be activated either by footswitch or hand switch at the users option. Due to easy handling, high reliability and safety as well as high performance the MD1 is the ideal companion in outpatient departments and private practices/clinics.
